Rev. Jamison May
Bro. Jamison serves as one of the Connect Pastor but also willingly serves in any other need that comes available. Jamison received his undergraduate degree from East Texas Baptist University and a Master of Arts in Religion from Memphis Theological Seminary. Jamison has served in vocational ministry for nearly 20 years and has a passion for sharing the Gospel with those in need of hope. Jamison is married to Alix and they have three sons; Arik, Aron, & Alik.
Amy Stevens
Ministry Assistant
Amy joined the staff of Grand Cane Baptist Church in August of 2010 and serves as the Administrative & Financial Secretary. Amy works diligently to make sure things run as smoothly as possible around the office. Amy very much enjoys serving the Church and the community. She has been married to Brent for 12 years and they have two kids; Kennedy (8) & Zane (6).
Rev. Jarrin Peeples
Student & Connect Pastor
Jarrin was born in Paris, Tx (second largest Paris in the world) and has a twin brother Darrin who is a Texas State Game Warden. Jarrin also has a sister Shelby, who is in 10th grade. Jarrin and his wife Rebecca married in July of 2010. Jarrin surrendered to ministry during the summer of 2004. After attending the local junior college for one year, Jarrin received his undergraduate degree East Texas Baptist University and graduated from there in May '11 with a Masters of Arts in Evangelism & CHurch Planting.IJarrin has served as youth pastor of GCBC since May '09. In January 2011, Bro. Jarrin also became the Minister for the Connect outreach ministry of GCBC. Jarrin loves the Dallas Cowboys,Texas Rangers, REAL mexican food, and people.
Rebecca Peeples
Children's Director
Rebecca Peeples is the wife of Jarrin, and became the Children's Director of GCBC in January of '11. Rebecca is originally from Sweeny, Tx and has one sister, Lizzie, who is a student at UMHB in Belton, Tx. Rebecca graduated from East Texas Baptist University in May with Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology. Rebecca enjoys reading, playing wii, traveling and playing with their dog Junior.
